product brochureUnico 300 is a three-manual organ with 32-notes pedalboard, 47 register tabs + 5 orchestral registers. The organ features an elegant console cabinet with roll-top cover. It is the ideal instrument for advanced students or medium/large sized churches. There is a huge library of internal registers through which the user can easily customize the instrument to his/her liking.
Developed with the award-winning and patented Physis® physical modelling technology, which reproduces the physical phenomena involved in the sound generation of the pipe organ, Unico 300 is capable of generating the highest-fidelity, most authentic church organ sound.
Parameter settings are easy to access, modify and store through the graphic display on the front panel. The “Action Tracker” style keyboard accurately detects touch by obtaining the speed of actuation of the keys, making it possible to feel a “Tracker Touch” effect, i.e. the correlation between the “touch” of the organist and the transient attack of each virtual pipe.

Interface The knobs, tabs, pistons and display provide super efficient control of the entire instrument. The Buttons and tabs to turn registers on and off, the pistons and all the other commands are ergonomically designed to respond quickly and easily to the demands of the user. The display is conveniently located on the side panel (in the centre of the CLV 7, Unico 300, 400, 500, 700, and in a sliding drawer for the Unico 800) with its own set of designated controls. The layout is smartly integrated with the instrument to allow unlimited possibility and personalization at the user’s fingertips. |
Keyboard “Tracker Touch” style keyboard Knowing the importance of the classic-organ keyboard, we have taken the utmost care in selecting the absolute best components. The mechanics of the keys gives the impression of a true “Tracker Action”, by obtaining the speed of actuation of the keys – making it possible to feel the “Tracker Touch” effect. i.e. the correlation between the “touch” of the organist and the transient attack of each virtual pipe. The keyboard is not only comfortable and consistent to play, but also dynamically sensitive, which is useful for the MIDI and Orchestral sounds – but also essential to provide the “Tracker Touch” effect. |
SOUND GENERATION Powered by Physis ® Physis® Physical modelling is what makes these organs so unique. This technology involved an enormous amount of research and development – and the result is truly innovative instruments which redefine “state of the art”. The sound generation in the entire Unico series uses Physis® technology – which builds sound through modelling technology – NOT storing samples like the 20+ year old technologies of our competitors. Physical modelling rebuilds all the elements of sound through complex algorithms – right down to the smallest imperfections. These are the ingredients which give the original instrument its character and warmth. Physis® technology reproduces the sound in REAL TIME just like it was created through a windblown pipe organ – with each sound having its own unique character. There are no ‘breaks’ and ‘split-points’ as you find in sampling, so the progression of the sound across the keyboard is accurate, smooth and natural. The development and refinement of the algorithms in physical modelling help make Physis organs the best in the world – and a new definition of ‘state-of-the-art’! |
Connections Complete Connections A complete selection of external connections is smartly and conveniently situated. In addition to Standard connections (MIDI In, Out, Thru; Headphones, stereo inputs), there are a microphone with gain control, 12 external multiple outs + 1(Sub) – with the option to expand these to 20+1(Sub). There are also USB host and Device connections. For the USB Host connection, it is possible to use a thumb drive to save and upload sound settings. For the USB Device connection, you can connect to a PC to personalize all aspects of the organ. With the Optional “Physis Editor” for PC, you can modify every single register for every single note – including volume, pitch, spatial disposition – and many other parameters. |
Pedals 1 Expression pedal and Crescendo pedal 1 expression pedal provides a fluid and precise movement – allowing complete control of the volume for Manual II and the CRESCENDO – programmable up to 16 levels. |
“Physis-The Editor” is an excellent software tool for Physis Organs editing.
